Meet Arthur!

Arthur Taracks joined the BadCat team in early 2020 as a social media and graphic design intern. His graphic design work is not only impeccable, but his witty sense of humor makes for a great addition to the BadCat team. We’re proud to have recently promoted him to graphic designer! 

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Southwest Minneapolis, Minnesota, and only moved to St. Cloud four years ago for school.

Where did you attend school?

In the fall of 2016, I started at St. Cloud State University as a computer science major.  About two years in, I was really struggling to find any motivation to mull over hundreds of lines of code every day. So, I did a 180 flip and decided to major in graphic design. I have thrived in the SCSU Art Department ever since, and I will be graduating in the spring of 2021.

What are some of your past employment experiences?

Before BadCat, I’ve only worked in food service and as a camp counselor.

Who’s your favorite BadCat and why?

My favorite BadCat is the Pink Panther, because they remind me of watching Saturday morning cartoons as a child.

What’s your favorite book?

Eragon—Christopher Paolini

When you’re not at BadCat, what can you be found doing?

In my free time I design, modify, and play board-games and video-games. Competition, storytelling, and visual arts have always fascinated me, and there’s no better way to combine all three than in a game.
