Please welcome Chuck Farmer to the team, helping the content team here at BadCat Digital! Keep reading to learn more about him!
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Springdale, Arkansas.
Where did you attend school?
I graduated suma cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Political Science.
What are some of your past employment experiences?
Out of college, I worked for an agency in St. Cloud before switching to freelance writing.
Who’s your favorite BadCat and why?
If you mean a person who works here, probably Spencer because he’s almost or equally nerdy as I am. But I love everyone. Perhaps I should say Michelle to cinch a spot as Assistant to the Regional Manager a la Dwight Schrute. If you mean an animal, maybe Tom from Tom and Jerry. That damn rat is gonna get what’s coming to him any day now.
What are some of your favorite genres?
For movies: action thrillers. For music: a country boy loves country music. But this country boy also enjoys hip-hop and uses metal and noise canceling headphones to make it through the workday. Books: SciFi Fantasy because reading a book where people have mundane, regular problems is no fun. Would you rather read a book where Betty is mad because her boyfriend sucks, or a book where Betty’s main problem is that an evil monster ate her sucky boyfriend? I also enjoy learning anything in the non-fiction genre. I’m such a sponge for info, people call me Bob.
When you’re not at BadCat, what can you be found doing?
You can find me at home with my lovely girlfriend and even more lovely dog (just don’t tell her I said that). I’ll be watching movies, playing games, or snuggling up with the Silmarillion. Alternatively, you might find me on the Youtube, slipping down a rabbit hole. I’ll be hundreds of videos deep until my phone dies or I do.
Like what you read? BadCat is even better in person.
