Please join us in welcoming Kayle Ellison! Learn a little bit more about our new project manager below.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in the heart of Stearns County: Melrose.

Where did you attend school?

I attended St. Cloud State University and achieved my bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in history, with an emphasis on World War II and the Holocaust.

What are some of your past employment experiences?

I started my employment working as a hostess at a local restaurant, then to running the cash register at our local grocery store. Fun fact, it was right across the street from my house! While in college, I worked at a telemarketing company for a couple of months, then the majority of my time in college I worked in retail. I branched into the healthcare industry, working as an optician at a local eye clinic, then worked client relations specialist at another local eye clinic. Before BadCat, I worked in development and communications at a local non-profit.

Who’s your favorite BadCat and why?

My favorite BadCat is hands down the cat from Hocus Pocus, (Thackeray) Binx. This movie was and still is my absolute favorite to watch during the fall and Halloween season. From a very young age I was so inspired by Binx. He would go to any length to protect and be there for his family and especially his sister. I’m convinced this movie, and Binx, is the reason I would go at any lengths to do absolutely anything for my family and my three sisters!

What’s your favorite book?

My favorite book is Harry Potter. I can and have reread this series countless times. Each time I pick it up, I am able to dive into and get completely lost in a different world!

When you’re not at BadCat, what can you be found doing?

I can be found spending time exploring new towns and breweries with my super dope husband and two adorable dogs. And I am ALWAYS (quite literally, always) knitting!

Like what you read? BadCat is even better in person.
